We saw a poison dart frog. The breakfast, pancakes and french toast, were very good. The grounds and room were very small but the space is utilized as best as possible. Very convenient location. "

"It was very nice to stay out of town, yet conveniently close enough to walk to town. Very private and quiet. Just a couple of minutes walk away, from Nacho Mama's LB Burrito which was excellent! I will definitely stay at the Secret Jungle again. "

"sylvia was so accommodating and provided us with very helpful tips for our stay. before arriving she helped recommend and book multiple excursions and tours for us. and anytime we had questions while we were there she answered on whatsapp or in person very quickly. she’s very kind and el jardin is a lovely quiet and safe little place "

"Wonderful place. Nice surroundings, really nice staff, good food, nice pool and quiet area, yet close to restaurants etc. Only small thing we missed was a bed light, instead of lamps in the ceiling, so a minor thing :)"

"Nice and quiet hotel right at the beach. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Only issue was the bed which in my room had a big footboard so I had to sleep diagonally in the bed. Be aware of that when you book if you’re tall."

"This was a good pic. One of the few hostels in front of the beach at Playa Cocles. Walking distance to public beaches, restaurants and stores. The staff was friendly. Food was somewhat pricey, though. However, the room was clean and a good value for what we paid for."

"I spent 1 night and it was fine for me. The room was clean. There is a fan which was good bc I don't like ACs. The mattresses needs updating bc I could feel the coils. The front desk was very nice. The grounds are very clean. "

"This was a girls' trip, and since we didn’t have a car, Maritza’s location was absolutely perfect! The hotel is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping, making everything so convenient. The daily breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. The property is well-kept, and the rooms have been beautifully renovated. We’ll definitely be back for another Pura Vida girls trip!"
