"We loved our week at Shepherds rest! Ilona was lovely and answered questions quickly and was so good to check in periodically. The house was clean and comfortable. The scariest part of the stay was driving through the tunnel when coming and going but we were driving a 9 passenger van so a small car would have no problems at all. There are beautiful walks right outside the door and it was peaceful and quiet. Lovely place to stay!"

"We stayed for a family get together for my husbands 70th birthday. What a wonderful house. Plenty of room to accommodate us all. After a full day out it was lovely to sit round the table and play games . The beds were so comfortable. Everything was of a high standard. "What a fantastic stay, we loved Tall Pines Apartment. The location is beautiful and very quiet - just what we were looking for. The apartment was very clean, nicely furnished, and warm and comfortable. I had read one previous review saying that the shower wasn't very warm, but this wasn't the case for us. "There were three couples that stayed here and we really enjoyed our time! Beds were comfy, large driveway so we could easily park our two rental cars, nice kitchen with the necessary items to make a quick breakfast, ample space for relaxing, and a short 10-15 minute walk into town (just remember it's a slightly steep incline!).
