"The property was a studio style space tucked away in an area close to the lighthouse beach end of the island. I enjoyed the space and especially having a bike. For the first few days I smelled an unpleasant water smell coming from the bathroom but the more I used the kitchen sink it seemed to dissipate. "The cottage was quite unique being located directly behind the owners residence in a neighborhood. The unit was perfect for my wife and I during our 2 night stay. It was clean and well appointed with everything you would need for your stay. The decor was beachy and appeared to be professionally done. "It was typical Florida HOT! Location and Cottage was GREAT. I do have one suggestion for you. I am 6'2" 280 and the shower in #2 Sandpiper was small. If you expand the shower to fit the walk-in area it would work out a lot better. I enjoyed the cottage and area a lot. "I wanted to get as close as I could to Bowman’s Beach and Blind Pass to go shell collecting. For the price this was a gem. I was able to do my daily walks at 5am collecting shells and be back for breakfast/brunch with my husband. Couldn’t walk on the beach to Blind Pass, have to walk on bike trail. "We really enjoyed our time here. The house is in a great location with plenty of privacy. We had a lot of fun using the kayaks, and the closeness of the put-in was great. Well stocked with everything we needed - even a stacked washer/dryer. Has a homey feel as another reviewer said. There is a grocery store nearby and a good amount of restaurants around.
