I really wanted to enjoy my stay here, in fact I was excited due to all of the "perfect" reviews I had read about online however I was extremely disappointed by the service I received and the way my birthday was treated. First prior to me arriving I called 4 times to make sure I had my Oceanview room booked, when I arrived, I was put on the first floor, facing a parking lot... although the room was spotless, it was far from what I paid for. Second when I arrived, I had trouble with the front desk due to him simply not taking me seriously and taking others before me even though I had arrived prior. I am not sure if this is agism, racism or sexism since I was one of the youngest guests there and they had an age requirement (that I met) but I found the front desk to be very discouraging and frustrating. Lastly the food place by the pool (which was green at the bottom my entire stay) was by far the most disappointing part about this trip. I ordered Ribeye steak that tasted like breakfast sausage and then proceeded to order pizza as a safer choice, and it tasted as if it had come straight from the refrigerator. When I tried to send it back after only eating a slice because my stomach began to hurt, I was denied. Ultimately although A bottle of champagne was put in my room to rectify the problem, I would not recommend this place and honestly, I wish I could get my money back.
