"The property was really nice and clean in the inside. Host had plenty of cooking utensils and even some spices. Very very cozy and the deck and grill outside was a great addition. Beautiful view out back!!!! The only suggestion I have is that there could have been a tv in the bedroom. Also, if you have trouble climbing steps then it may not be a good place to stay because bathroom is upstairs. Otherwise, it was AWESOME! You won’t be disappointed"

"With the lake not yet active after the storm I was concerned if the younger adults would be bored or not have a great time. We all had a blast. That game table is a hit! Good for. A few minutes entertainment or several hours depending on what you want to play. Very comfortable beds. Very beautiful place. Easy to use tbs and kitchen ware. Enough technology to impress. But not ultra technical gadgets to complicated to use. We had an awesome time! Will stay again if available. Quiet neighborhood...

"We loved sitting on the porch and taking in the view of Lake Lure and the mountains with a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening! Great location to Chimney Rock and Rumbling Bald(for fellow rock climbers out there). Excellent, timely communication with the owner. Would stay here again!"

"Absolutely loved this property! We chose this home at Rumbling Bald to accommodate family for our son’s wedding which was onsite. We had 10 adults, an infant, and a dog. The space was perfect. The bottom level was its own private space which was perfect for the family members with the baby. The main level bedroom fit our needs so our elderly parents did not have to climb stairs and the upstairs bedrooms were spacious enough for the rest of the crew.
