"After the hurricane, there were not many places in the county that had electricity, but this home did. It was a blessing for our family to be able to live and work here for a week. The house was clean and very comfortable and the host was very easy to work with. Highly recommended for someone visiting the area or needing a place to stay while home is unavailable. "

"What an amazing home! It is beautiful, clean, and has everything you need and more to be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy the wonderful surroundings. It is a perfect spot to get away and enjoy the wonderful outdoor amenities while stargazing. It is close to several resturants and places to grab a drink while enjoying the beautifil sunsets. "Great classic lake house tucked away in a cove with views of the main lake. Will be great again when the work in the lake is finished and water levels restored. Great house and great location. "

"One of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Nice view and outdoor space, very clean and spacious inside, and every amenity was taken care of - from coffee, to bed linens, to shampoo/conditioner, to beach towels, to laundry detergent, to pots and pans. We had a bit of an issue with an A/C malfunction but the owner was responsive and got it resolved."

The property is beautiful and suited for everyone with access to a pontoon boat, kayaks, and SUPs. "We spent our Labor Day weekend at Historic Grain Cottage on Highland Cow Farm and were immersed in the middle of this working farm. The accomodations were cozy and rustic and we thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the cows, goats, chickens, cats, and horse.
