"We were in town for a funeral and stayed at this tiny home as an experiment. It was a good experience with the host and the home. I highly recommend if you find yourself near Franklinton. There were farm fresh eggs in the kitchen and everything you could want for an evening stay. It can be hit or miss on short term house rentals, this was a home run."

"My 11 yr old granddaughter saw this listing and begged to stay “at the castle house”. The “castle” is a unique, one of a kind 3 story house, at the end of a trail through the woods. Please be aware that the dirt road and narrow trail to the house might not be suited for small cars. (We have a full sized truck.) "The house was great! Myself, along with 3 others stayed here for a few days while working in town. The house is brand new on the inside , everything from the dishes to the sheets. It was great and clean. We will surely stay here again if we're in the area. The house was as described , extremely clean and new. Amber , the host, was great and very responsive. I would suggest this highly to anyone looking for a place to stay on this area."

"Location was about 30 min from most places BUT it is so amazing! The quiet and distance allowed us to see so much wildlife that would never have been seen otherwise. We had an owl visit almost every evening. The property had plenty of space for kids to run and play. The host were so welcoming and gracious! Karen came and walked us into the deer area and feed them “cookies”. She also answered all of our questions. "

"We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay....from breathtaking sunsets to amazing wildlife. The location was perfect for visiting Louisana....close to New Orleans and not to far from Baton Rouge... The beds and couch were extremely comfy and we loved coming home for the day and just hanging out playing pool and board games.... The host and staff were very nice and always available. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends!"

I ended up opening the door of a family staying in their cabin bc the host failed to give me proper check in instructions.
