"Friendly, helpful staff with somewhat inadequate English skills. Breakfast: underwhelming assortment for a 5 star hotel. Designated morning staff chatty and smiling. Good vibes. Gym: cramped, dark, smelly and small. Rudimentary equipped. Pool: under maintenance when arrived, but looked pretty. Room: clean and basic. No balcony, and the windows couldn’t really be opened. Claustrophobic. A/C functional if noisy. Curious interior architecture with only 1 central glass elevator and plenty of circular blue neon lights. Location: in short walking distance of public transport and various restaurants. "

If you want to go to Izmir PLEASE choose this place. Very close to water, very close to mountains, very close to shopping and relatively close to IstinyePark which is also where the metro is.
