Just a quick one night stay on a family/friends road trip. The property was very nice, clean and comfortable. Only wish we had another night to enjoy it longer. I would recommend this property!

Wonderful place!

Good fit
Overall, nice visit - place was very spacious and fairly well equipped - and stayed amazingly cool, even though it was record high temps for Flag! A/C was not needed. Only drawback was firm beds and freeway proximity kind of spoiled what would otherwise be a perfect patio! But we would definitely stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed this apartment stay.
Close to town and food. We had enough room for everyone who stayed. The bunk room didn't have a ceiling fan however it was cold enough at night to not worry about it being hot. There was only one large shower in the master room. The other shower is very small and narrow and its located in the utility room with no curtain for privacy to the room itself. Those were the minor issues. The noise level upstairs was minimal. We had no issues with this place at all. It was very clean and had every we needed to stay there. We would stay here again for sure!

Wonderful Vacation Home!
I went with my fiancé and a few friends for a quick getaway. This is the absolute perfect place for a nice escape from Phoenix. It’s perfect for a family or a small group of friends. The owner is very communicative and responsive. Overall, I would say this has been the best VRBO I’ve stayed at thus far. Thank you for your hospitality, absolutely lovely! :)

Need to clean out interior rubber in washing machine, vacuum under beds and vacuum couch with tons of crumbs under cushion The grout snd caulk lines in master shower needs to be redone. Not looking good. The master toilet base very loose and moves a ton and rotates when you sit on it. Besides this the place itself is spacious, modern and beautiful

Perfect for our Family stay
We put our 93 year old granny on a plane for the first time in her life to come to our small wedding in Flagstaff. This property was great especially for her as there were no stairs (which we ran into quite a bit). She said that she slept better than she had in years while staying. 100% Granny approved. Cute outdoor area and in a great location.

Nice downstairs apartment. I thought from the pics it would be the whole place but I was fine with the space we had. Very nice high ceilings. Didn’t feel like a basement. Beautifully manicured backyard. I checked in later at night and got turned around a little bit but the host replied immediately and was there to help me get my bearings. I would love to stay again.

Great place to stay!
We stayed here for a month over the summer. Very clean and contemporary! Beds were super comfy but the master is NOT a king bed. The frame looks like a king but the mattress is actually a queen. Luckily there were 2 full/Queens in the secondary bedroom because my husband is a larger man and we would not be comfortable together in a queen. The backyard is super cute and I love that you have a grill and table and chairs to eat outside. As mentioned in previous reviews, there are some holes, patches and un finished pieces to the home. it didn't both us but should probably be fixed at some point. And you do hear the people above. Sometimes a lot, sometimes not so much it just depends. This was really the only downfall. I bought extra fans for our rooms so we could drown out the steps in the mornings. We've stayed in a few rentals throughout Flagstaff and overall this was definitely a good find!

Freaking awesome
This home is the best we have stayed at. If you have a chance to stay here, you won't regret it. Beautiful home in University Heights. This place feels like your living in paradise. It's the down stairs of this home and it is huge. Upper part of the home is occupied by others. But you are in your own little world down there.

Overall it looked clean but there was a couple of cob webs in the corners on the ceilings and I had dropped some food on the floor, but clean I cleaned with wet paper towel, the towel was gray. The beds where clean and neat. I also was not told the listing was for the first floor and not the entire house where I tried to get into and was greeted by a barking dog. I had to walk around and find the first floor. Aside from those things it was good.

As always, we appreciate reviews, especially when they provide an accurate description of the property. Our listing clearly describes the large cabin apartment being on the lower half of the lodge. I'm not sure what more should be said in the listing. We provide every guests with written detailed descriptions for arriving and checking in to this home, with it's private driveway, garage and entrance. On occasion we have a guest that will call, having already arrived to the property without ever reading any of the instructions previously given.

Great stay!
Went here for a long weekend trip and couldn't be happier with the location and quality of the place! It was spacious and beautifully put together. Definitely will be coming back here for our next trip to Flagstaff!

Great location,quick drive to freeways, markets , restaurants, gas stations. Short drive to the Awe inspiring Grand Canyon South Rim , and to beautiful Sedona and Coconino. About a 3 hour drive to the West Rim of The Grand Canyon. Also , located in a very quiet private and forest like community. Window/door coverings for the mud room would be greatly appreciated since one of the showers is located there and is open to the outside, otherwise a very lovely location.

The location was perfect for visiting all the area offers, closed to Sedona, skiing, hiking and many national parks/monuments plus easy drive for groceries and dining although with the great kitchen we chose to eat in most of our stay. Comfortable accommodations and great communication from the host.

Our favorite cabin stay!
Very beautiful, clean, modern space. Had everything we needed. Great location (just a few minutes drive to downtown flagstaff). Communication with Jim is always great...he's always prompt, kind, and super helpful. We've stayed here 2 times so far, and we're already looking forward to our next stay!

Spacious basement casita with potential
Beautiful exterior, this rental is the backside/bottom floor of the property and faces the backyard of a couple neighbors. Nicely appointed and located in a quiet neighborhood (despite how close to I-17 freeway) with very easy access to hiking/biking trail. We would stay here again but also feel there is potential to still be realized. It seemed as if some finishing's are incomplete, (smoke detectors missing, open outlet holes, door trims unsealed/unpainted, master toilet not fully secured/leveled). Not too disruptive for us but you can hear the owners upstairs walking and a couple times at 1am the hot tub on the deck above would spill water outside the master door . I think it would have been private enough except there was landscaping being done each day so workers were right outside the living room and bedrooms windows (not to mention the patio where we would have liked to eat some breakfasts without workers smoking nearby). Kitchen was fully stocked with supplies and the sheets and pillows were extremely oft and comfy. The master bed, however, must have been a full size. For a large room and bed frame, we were surprised at the small master bed mattress. Additional suggestions: add black out curtains, needs shower hooks to hang wet towels, fix garage rolling door (has to be manually forced down - inconvenient when leaving the property.) Overall we enjoyed our stay and the property provided the space my family needed. We would consider this rental again in the future, especially to see how the landscaping project turns out!

Great Property
We had a very enjoyable stay. The location is convenient, close to town and freeways. This is a basement so you do hear noise upstairs from time to time but nothing unordinary. We enjoyed the property and it was stocked with everything needed.
