Great distance to Austin where we spent most of our time. Quick 30 min drive. We picked this location because we also went to the Texas monthly bbq fest which was 25 minutes and also San Marcos was a short distance. "This place was very clean and comfortable but we could not get over the smell of the water. Ruined a great stay. The smell was so bad we could not shower. We showered the first day and wretched the entire time, literally made me sick. The smell is a sickening sulfur smell. Was told it is because it’s well water but I have well water and have never had this problem. We had other friends stay in town and they didn’t not experience the same problem either. Very unfortunate because everything else...
