"This B&B is a hidden gem. If I am honest it's better than a lot of hotels I have stayed in. Helen and Nigel are fantastic hosts and their attention to detail is outstanding. the rooms are spacious, comfortable and Modern. The Breakfast was to die for, cooked to perfection and of a size where I didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. I won't hesitate to book again next time we are in the area. "

"Beautiful house with character, host Sinclair was really good on arrival, comfortable room with really comfy chair for sitting whilst doing paperwork later and had an excellent sleep. Breakfast selection was better than any hotel with homemade jams, cooked selections superb."

"This was the most elegant and b&b I’ve ever stayed in. The room was magnificent and the owner/operators were fantastic. They treated us marvelously, were welcoming, and made us feel right at home during our stay. The breakfast was absolutely the best. If you find yourself in Ayr and are looking for a place to stay book The Townhouse. You won’t be disappointed. "

"I absolutely loved my stay at Crossaig Lodge and I cannot thank Susan enough for going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Would thoroughly recommend, but would make sure you’re a confident driver, as the road to the property is a little treacherous. "

"Very easy instructions to get in using the key safe box in the porch. A choice of breakfasts that is sent before you arrive you just had to let Heather have by 8.30 the night before by txting on WhatsApp very easy. Lovely clean room with shower, loo and tv. Great WiFi. Breakfast was delicious and I had different options and Heather kindly stocked up the milks tea and coffee as I was there for 5 days. Quiet area within walking distance of the train station 10 mins max and a lovely marina across...
