"It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. "This was a weekend get away for me and my adult sons. I had spent a lot of time in WV (mostly caving) when I was in my 20's like them and love the area. We had a wonderful time and the Bear Valley Cabin was our home away from home. The house had everything we needed including a grill for our foil packs and steaks, a fire pit to sit around at night as well as the chairs with oil lamp to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds in the morning and evening. "This property was perfect for a quiet getaway. The lake is 7 minutes away The neighborhood is quiet and secluded. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. The house was very clean. The young adults enjoyed the game room on the first floor. My husband I enjoyed the covered front porch. The hot tub was a very nice touch. It sure felt like home. "
