"We had a memorable experience at the cottage by the sea. The cottage was cute and cozy. The fireplace is so nice and keeps the whole home warm. The views were what blew me away with this place. We spent the majority of our time on the back deck whale watching. It was just beautiful and we didn’t want to leave. The host and her daughter were unbelievably friendly and welcoming. They made us delicious dinner and the daughter even gifted me an orca bag because I expressed how much I love orcas. It...

"Our stay was amazing the staff were amazing beds were so comfortable. They even called us to let us no my son had left his bugs bunny stuffy just shortly after we left. So they got to cleaning very quickly after we checked out and gave our deposit back right after they were done cleaning the room. Pool and hot tub were so nice and comfortable. That's where we will be staying from now on."

While the house might be a bit dated, it's clean, comfortable, in a fairly convenient location and of course the view out to the Similk bay is 1000% worth it. We spent a full work week partially remote working and partially exploring Anacortes and the San Juans island region. "We had a great time here! It was a little crowded for our family of 4 with our 2 small dogs, but the furnishings were very comfortable, the home was very clean, great location for everything we wanted to do while we were there- golf, ferry to Orcas Island, whale-watching (saw a whole family of Orcas!), walking distance to great restaurants, and in a nice quiet neighborhood.
