"We had an unbelievable time staying at Casa Ceoil in Ruan near Ennis, County Clare. This property is absolutely beautiful, especially if you love animals. Everything was incredibly clean with all that you can ask for- a great sitting area, washer/dryer, big kitchen table and comfortable bedrooms. Barbara was so kind and we loved touring the farm. "Perfect cottage for our five day stay. Everything we needed was available. It was spacious and comfortable. Janet, The host was lovely. We also loved the location. Short walk to Galway Bay and short drive to the ferry to get to Inis Mor. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere so peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend this cottage if Western Ireland is your destination. "

"The views of the ocean from this house were amazing. It’s a beautiful peaceful location and a short walk to the Cliff of Moher walking trail. You do need a car to get around to explore the area. Local taxis are also very good. The just left some local treats which were appreciated."

"From the moment we walked in, we were in love with this lovely home. As hosts, they thought of everything!! You will feel spoiled and pampered when you stay here. In the refrigerator, we were gifted local smoked salmon, Irish cheese, Irish crackers, fresh eggs, milk and juice. There were real wool throw blankets curled up next to the over stocked fireplace. "Fanore is a bit isolated but this is exactly what we wanted. We were able to relax and still explore the surrounding towns and nature attractions. Would highly recommend for a way to decompress. The house was comfortable and was more than enough space for a family of 4. As with any house there were a few quirks (hot water runs out after 15-20 minutes s you have to plan showers)- nothing that isn't easily managed. Highly recommend for a rural getaway in Western Ireland."
