The receptionist must have picked up it was his birthday from the passport details, because minutes after we had entered the room, housekeeping came by with cake and free champagne. Wow. "Great location, clean, comfortable bed. Only issue was that there is no full time reception, at least in the off-season, so when I went to drop my bag off without notice, nobody was there. But they were very responsive and let me in quite quickly."
