"Our stay at House 5863 B&B was very easy. Its very easy and convinient with access to a small kitchen and a balcony. There was possibility to have a small breakfast but we didnt really like the food which was all readymade cakes etc. "

"Friendly and helpful staff. Close to transit. Clean rooms, comfortable bed."

"Vi boede på 1. sal og skulle op af en stejl trappe med smalle trin. Ikke så nemt med bagagen. Noget slidte værelser og gulvtæppe som trængte til udskiftning. Savnede at kunne åben en vindue. Men ellers rene værelse. Rimelig rolig beliggenhed i et område hvor man nemt kan gå til spisesteder, shopping mv. Vi brugte ca 35 min ind til downtown Chicago. "

"The bathroom has no exhaust fan. Interestingly enough the Cook county code requires all residential and commercial bathrooms to have exhaust fans. Also, the staff falsely charged my incidentals for some water they were selling in the lobby and I pointed that out so they had to remove the charge."

"I like that it had a balcony food choice wasn’t my type of style end up ordering food off of site but definitely had all the amenities for you to be ready for the next day. Will be staying again little bit pricey for a short weekend stay but I will definitely be coming back. Very great part of the town hope to own my own own home in this place one day."

"Loved plenty of parking, room cleaned every day and breakfast included. Would love to have a few throw pillows and blankets in the living area. Would love to have coffee in the lobby earlier than 7:30."

"Very unique property in a nice quiet neighborhood. Valet was excellent!! Would definitely go back."

"What an absolutely remarkable place! It genuinely feels as though a beautiful piece of historic Italy has been transported into this Chicago neighborhood. The architecture, thoughtfully selected ornate decor, warmth, and attention to detail create an atmosphere that is both elegant and incredibly welcoming. This is not simply a place to stay. It is an experience. And then there is Gina! Her hospitality is in a class of its own. From preparing a wonderful breakfast to serving homemade banana...

"We love the Peninsula in general but this time the concierge failed BIG TIME. Being from Europe and happen to be in the US in the 4th of July , we asked for a restaurant/ vennue where ofc we would be able to see fireworks.. we where booked at a restaurant where not one single piece of firework was visible throughout the whole night . This was the ONLY criteria for the conceirce to take care of and it was a TOTAL failure.. had we had a good dinner that could have made up for some of the failure...

"Super clean. Super views. Super amenities. Will stay again."
