"Absolut en af de bedste oplevelser ! Jeg elskede hvert øjeblik af vores besøg på hotellet. Kommunikation før ankomsten, service personale, ankomst og velkomst var super positive og venlige!!! Værelset (sailor’s room) var super hyggeligt, lyst og manglede intet! Morgenmad var fantastisk, synes jeg personligt. Alt var af gode kvalitetsråvare og vegansk. Mine børn var skuffet af at de ikke fik de klassiske pandekage med nutella.intet problem! Beliggenhed er helt i top - gode butikkker, kafeer...

"I loved absolutely everything about this hotel. The location is central. The decor is beautiful and chic. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was large and had such great water pressure. But the reason I will keep coming back to this hotel is the service- which was above an beyond. Mara greeted up with such kindness and warmth, and immediately helped us make both lunch and dinner reservations. "Quarto muito confortável é espaçoso na frente do jardim. O funcionário da recepção foi muito simpático. A localização é ótima. Perto da estação de trem e das principais praias de Cascais. Ficaria de novo!"

"The owner is very kind and very helpful. It is not a hotel so no front desk. However, it is easy to reach him. No parking on site but room on the street and not to far. Mirror should be added in the room."

"So many things are noteworthy, if not unique, to Chalet Ficalho... The garden, with its beautiful centenary trees, the family history, the wines, the breakfast cakes, the friendly staff, the cracker-loving dog... and, of course, the owners! It is very conveniently located, just an easy walk to the bustling center of Cascais, with its plethora of restaurants, and an almost as easy (except for the blazing sun!) walk to some of the famous attractions like Boca do Inferno and the lighthouse further...

"I had a lovely stay, room was nice, cosy, clean, staff were nice and helpful, we had WiFi the whole time, breakfast was good, only thing I would add to breakfast is to have sweetener as well as sugar, in the room, I would make a bigger shower but I do understand it’s an old building and things cost money, I would definitely stay there again and the view was magnificent!!"

"It was my very first time in a guest house. They did have exceeded my expectations. Despite of my horrible rudeness due to ebookers unprofessionalism combined with terrible migraine they did remain polite and extremely professional. It is a luxury guest house. It’s beautiful, quit, clean, fresh, peaceful and perfume smells incredible. They do have a good attention to detail but unfortunately the pillows weren’t fresh. "

L'acqua della piscina(inutilizzabile) è di colore marrone, colazione scarsa e di basso livello. La struttura ha bisogno di parecchia manutenzione. Peccato!!!"

"nothing like what expedia has the property described as . "waterfront" - no where near. "Situated on the boardwalk" no where near. One hand towel provided for 2 people and extra charges advertised for extra towlels/change within 3 days. Needed maintenance. The door had large gaps around, didn't lock properly. Shower curtain was filthy along the bottom. Outside areas run down and needed some cleaning & painting . double the usual nightly rate for Tom Jones concert but really wasn't worth...

"Amazing place very close to the city center. Staff was extremely helpful and service minded. In that respect one of the best experiences we have ever encountered at a hotel. Spacious and clean rooms with extra pool towels though there are also towels available both at indoor and outdoor pools. Excellent breakfast buffet. Only downside - not that we cared but may be relevant to people with less mobility - the outdoor pool area is a “long” way and will not be easily accessible for everyone. "
