"We had a lovely stay in Deena’s cottage. The cottage was super convenient to the car ferry, and we took many fun trips into Williamsburg and Jamestown with the kids. We enjoyed the private slice of beach right outside the cottage and kayaking with the kids in the river. Deena was incredibly communicative and knowledgeable and the check-in/out process was seamless. The cottage was well-appointed and the kitchen well-stocked and had everything we needed. "The cottage was in the perfect location for our visit to Yorktown. Once there we really didn't have to drive much. It is easy to walk down to the water, to the battlefield and the American Revolution Museum. We walked to restaurants and shops. The trolley that does a loop has a stop directly across from the cottage. The cottage had nice places to sit outside, plenty of room in the living area. "We enjoyed our stay so much. We enjoyed playing on our own private beach. The water was so warm each day! Fishing was good on the James River as well. We loved how the house was at the end of the lane and surrounded by trees,. It gave us a very private feel. If you LOVE Bald eagles this is a place for you to stay. We can't wait to book our next stay!"

"We stayed here for 5 days. It it felt like home and was very close to all the locations to see in Williamsburg it was very nice inside and out. It has all the amenities that you would probably have at your house. All the VRBO reviews on its location we're very helpful and honest. Local brewery just down the street Frothy Moon that place good also. We will book again here if ever in the area on vacation."

"First, I did not realize how far off the beaten path the property was; however, it wasn't a difficult or treacherous drive. Once arriving, it was well worth it. The property is immaculate and provided all the basic needs to cook and enjoy the amenities. The river is beautiful, and watching it from the sunroom happened daily. I will definitely look at this property when returning, hopefully it will be warmer but the firepit offered warmth and smores when sitting out back enjoying the river...
