"This listing says cottage but it's an apartment. Be ready to go up stairs to get into it. The kitchen is small but fine. Everything works, but it's not especially well equipped for cooking. The coffee maker does not work. Our checkin was delayed for about 40 minutes when we arrived and we had no where to stay while waiting for our apartment. Wi Fi was very weak in the apartment and TV is like a hotel where there are certain channels available but no way to sign in to your own streaming accounts....

"The cottage was clean and well maintained. There was a short walk to the beach or you could access the free trolley directly across from the cottage to get you where you wanted to go. It was nice not having to drive everywhere. The owners were quick to respond to any questions and provided information about activities occurring in the area over the July 4th weekend. Overall, it was a great trip and I would recommend the cottage to anyone interested in staying in Yorktown. "

"We had a lovely stay in Deena’s cottage. The cottage was super convenient to the car ferry, and we took many fun trips into Williamsburg and Jamestown with the kids. We enjoyed the private slice of beach right outside the cottage and kayaking with the kids in the river.
