"I have a couple of suggestions. The musty smell in the house might be helped by cleanng out the fireplace. You might add washcloths to the bathrooms - not everyone uses them, but some of us do regularly. The prompt response to the need for 8 lightbulbs in the house was appreciated - might want to check bulbs before the next customers arrive. Visitors should be aware that the two bathrooms in the house are small - if 8-10 people are living in that house, that should be a consideration. "

"Nice decor, fairly clean except for random hairs stuck to things. The backyard was nice for pets.The kitchen smelled like marijuana. Not sure why, we could not find the source it's just in the air. The sheets were washed with some incredibly strong smelling fabric softener and the smell was so potent we got headaches from it. The door to the master shower does not open more than 18 inches so if you're not a skinny person, you will not be getting into that shower. 15 minutes after our checkout...

"This rental needs a lot of general maintenance. Holes in the walls, questionable electrical, unreliable door lock, switch cover plates broken, main floor toilet had to be flushed by removing the lid and pulling up on the lever. "

"Charming Bungalow with Spacious Yard was a lovely home to spend the week. The neighborhood is quiet with a nice park (has a summer pool too) in walking distance. Shopping and dining is also close. The weather during my stay showed this place stays warm during the cold spells and would be great to enjoy the backyard with the grill. "The Chestnut House was a very comfortable option for us. The thing that really stuck out to us was the thoughtfulness of the host. A bottle of wine was left for us, an ample supply of coffee available, lots of toilet paper and kitchen supplies. The house had everything we needed including a desk for my wife to work at. It is an older house and so some of the spaces are small like the bathroom and kitchen, but it was completely functional and nicely done given the space limitations."

"Everything and we mean everything about this host and home was comfortable, secure and beautiful! We didn’t even expect the holiday decor but the home was adorned with tree and trimming. We stayed in Cleveland to be away from the city and close to our son’s wedding winery venue. Due to the holidays it was really the first long weekend travel we did with our dog because we didn’t want to have to board him over extra days in a kennel alone.
