What we walked into at 4 PM check-in was not a vacation rental — it was an active construction site.Construction workers were still clearing debris from the property until 9 PM the night we arrived. It was on a quiet section of the lake and there were no houses directly across. The screen in porch with rocking chairs were perfect for morning coffee.
