When we stayed (late September) it was incredibility quiet on the lake, except for the sound of loons. We had one very minor issue, reached out to the owner and it was addressed almost immediately.

Beautiful, peaceful location for a family vacation. The lake is clean with lots of fish and so quiet we could hear the loons at night. The house is perfect for a large group with comfortable beds, lots of hot water and linens and is also very well equipped for fun on the lake and family meals in the evening- we had everything we needed for a week’s stay. The house is a convenient distance to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. We were also really touched to see the gift basket left by our hosts. This is definitely a place we would want to stay at again.

The home and lake were perfect. The owner has such attention to detail, all the supplies you would ever need. If you need it -it’s there! Can openers…every size pot or pan.. hand towels to fresh hand soaps! It’s like a resort! Lake was great size for tubing or water skiing clean not mucky. We rented a boat from the owners and loved it. Don't miss the jump rock for easy fun. So close to Cadillac Mountain -book a reservation to the summit at sunset and stay for a star filled evening. The teenagers even stop staring at their phones to watch meteors and shooting stars.

This was an incredible stay for all 10 of us and the dogs. The house was spacious and the backyard was amazing. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We spent a lot of time just in the water. We also had to contact the host a couple times and he responded each time within minutes. We also got married in Acadia and we ended up doing our first look photos on the dock because it was so pretty. I would definitely come back here!

We had a great stay in Otis! We enjoyed the lake, the canoe and kayaks, the loons with their calls and several visits from a bald eagle. We also rented a pontoon boat - a great week for it. The lake is huge and the area is very peaceful. The neighbors were all friendly on morning walks.While we had great days and nights in Otis at the camp, we also enjoyed Acadia with a few hikes and Bar Harbor for a few dinners. Finn's in Ellsworth was fairly close and we had a great meal there as well. The house was super clean and comfortable and the property had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Josh was very responsive!!

Amazing Home

House was perfect for our family of 8. Not only was the house amazing, the canoes, kayaks, fire pit—long story short, the outside amenities were also perfect for our family and we spent a lot of time outside enjoying them. Highly recommend this house!

Graduation Celebration

Stayed at the property with family for a university of Maine graduation celebration. The property was beautiful, spacious, clean and the best stocked of any property I have stayed at. Even though the weather was not great we had a fantastic time in the spacious home. Would love to stay here again.

Great Spot with Amazing View

The house was amazing. Lots of room, comfortable beds, and an amazing view of the lake. It's in a quiet neighborhood and 30-40 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia. My only complaint is that there wasn't any body wash or shampoo. Other than that, the place was perfect.

Great stay!

Property is just as described. We stayed with adults, teens and children. We also rented a pontoon boat from the owner and used it to view the sunrise, cruise to the public beach and take the kids (and adults) to the lake's jump rock. Had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Beech Hill Pond

This is our second visit to this wonderful house on the lake. We rented a pontoon boat again. It was 6 adults 2 children and 2 dogs. The property and view is stunning. Close to Ellsworth and Acadia. Josh is an excellent and responsive host. The only negative is that it is so nice staying on the property and boat we only got to Acadia once.

Lovely vacation home

We had a fantastic vacation at the lake house. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The entry way on the ground level in the back was fantastic. A fridge on the lower level would have been great to avoid walking up and down the stairs...maybe something to consider. The ac worked well in the main areas of the house but if you sleep with the door closed a fan was needed and unfortunately there werent enough fans for all the bedrooms. The house is about a half hour away from the nearest grocery store and about an hour away from Bar Harbor. It was perfect for a day trip to do some shopping and to have lunch. Beech Hill Pond is beautiful and extremely clean and clear. Its a bit rocky at the shore line but once you are in its perfect.The boat rental was a huge plus. We would definately recommend and visit again.

Family trip

We had 9 adults and 1 six year old at this property. It was a beautiful lake front home with plenty of room for all of us to gather together. We all had a wonderful vacation and would highly recommend this home. There was one canoe, one kayak and 2 tandem kayaks for us to use which we did several times. Hearing the loons in the evening made my stay even better

Graduation

The house is very nice. Updated kitchen, all the bedrooms where a good size and the beds where all comfy. We had 9 adults and a dog and there was plenty of room for everyone. The view from the living room was fantastic. I would highly recommend.
