"We had a beautiful stay at the cabin. The leaves were newly turning and it is close to many places for a walk in the woods. We hiked to the loom lake fire tower, kayaked, made marshmallows and enjoyed the outdoors. Also found a large amount of chicken of the woods mushrooms in the woods behind the cabin! "

"This is a great, quiet space to get away! Easy access to the water and lots of extras to support you getting out on the water. We had a great time exploring both the Plattsburgh and Burlington area from here, quick drive to either. "

"The house is charmingly decorated in cabin style and appears to have been recently updated. Many of the appliances seemed new and they all worked well. Furnishings were comfortable, and the laundry and kitchen were all well supplied with the items we needed. Being able to use the kayaks to explore the Narrows was really special! The hosts were helpful and responded to our few questions promptly. This is a beautiful area, and a really comfortable base to explore it from. "

"This experience was 5 star plus. As stated VRBO host are available, but you never see them. Our favorite things, Location, porch, kayaking-fishing ,swimming. The cabin reminded us of granparents and parents who lived on lakeshore road .It was too short. I have already rebooked. Look no further"

"We had a wonderful experience at Susan and Greg’s cabin on Upper Chateaugay Lake. The sunsets were as good as advertised, and the mountain and lake themed decor was absolutely conducive to a soothing, rustic experience. The unit was very well furnished from pots and pans, to comfortable bedding, to personal watercraft, an inviting fire pit, genuine Adirondack chairs, to an inviting lawn swing overlooking the lake.
