"Everything was wonderful. Coming into a beautiful little home that was quaint And cozy, and have a decorated for Halloween with a few decorations was quite a surprise. It reminded you that you are headed into the fall season. The basket of treats was a welcomed gift and the water left in the refrigerator was extremely unexpected. We are both in our 70s and enjoy traveling and seeing a tiny home. This home gave us an idea of what we might be looking for in the future, however in a warmer climate...

"Quaint and exactly as described - Just what we needed!"

"I think the property was great close enough to town but far enough out to feel secluded in your own home away from home. The only problem we had was there were some things that could’ve been a little cleaner in the home. The loft had some dead bugs unfortunately but most everything else was quite clean."

"This cottage was super clean and we really enjoyed being surrounded by the pine trees. The hot tub was great, too. The Shiloh General Store was a good visit, as was Stone Mountain, and the Andy Griffith Museum. It wasn't too far of a drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I did have to call and ask the rental agency for the directions, and I couldn't understand the accent of the person who answered the phone. Thankfully, they emailed them after I asked. Also, our GPS brought us to a house down the...

"Roxanne was amazing. Location was quiet and super close to our wedding venue. Would definitely stay again. My only note, beds are very firm."

"Host is excellent! Great communication! Property is beautiful and the pool was fabulous!! Would definitely book again."

"Roxanne is the most hospitable host we have ever experienced. Lots of country charm. Daisy, Mable, Eagle, Millie, Smoky and Gravy where our new friends! We were blessed! "

"Best VRBO we have ever rented. Jerry and Betty had everything so clean and stocked with a lot of extras. House was ready for an early check in and we were able to get the rest and relaxation we needed. We cooked our own meals, napped on couch, and only ventured out for fresh vegetables."

"My family and I love staying on the Old Beau property. Beautiful views and convenient to golf course and club house by golf cart. This home is comfortable and clean."

"Hosts were very communicative. Proximity to everything is within walking distance, although it rained while we were there so we decided to drive and park. The living room furniture and kitchen table are now different from what is pictured... Not good nor bad, just picture not updated. Of note, this is a very old shed/storage area converted into a one bedroom apartment. While it was very cute and quaint, there was a very heavy musty smell. They did have an air purifier going but didn't seem to...

"I have stayed in a lot of different homes and can't always give a 5 star rating but this homes deserves more than 5 stars. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and Betty would check to see if we needed anything. We sat out on the carport watching the rain and storm and it was BEAUTIFUL. I would absolutely recommend this home to my family and friends. I will be going back down to Mount Airy and will plan my trip to stay here again."
