Bring your own dust cloth. Room had dust everywhere, with spider webs in several places, (they were covered in dust as well). Window screens are thick with dust which blows onto the window frames and bed with the windows open. The air-conditioning wasn't working so you will need the windows open for cooling, which will then let all the busy main road traffic noises in. Was given only half a roll of toilet paper and ignored when we asked for more and if we could do a load of laundry. This is not a self-contained unit/private accommodation set up, it is a room in a house, which the owners live in as well. The atmosphere is awkward and feels stifling like you're in a library or an intruder in the house. Other guests will come and go from the property and I saw the guest register/journal left out on the shared kitchen bench on several occasions where anyone could access your details. There wasn't a fridge in the room, only a wine fridge that was basically a glorified fan and can't cool anything. The room was serviced once during our stay, but they chose to reuse the same sheets and simply tuck everything back in... Makes me wonder if this happens in between guests as well, resulting in unhygienic shared bedding. We left a day early as our next accommodation felt bad for our situation and was able to let us check in. Property is currently for sale, thankfully no viewings/inspections happened while we were staying there.
