3. Mountain View Loj overlooking the majestic Adirondack Mountains & Ausable River

Jay

"This home is spacious enough, inside and outside, for our entire family 6 adults and 2 young kids. The large dinner table allowed everyone to eat together with room to spare. The beds were very comfortable. The front porch was enjoyed every morning and afternoon. The view is awesome, we even saw participants for the Ironman ride their bikes past. There are so many things to see nearby. Shannon is very nice and was very quick to answer any questions we had. It is a lovely place, if we...

"Beautiful house and location. Just what we were looking for in terms of size, rooms and features. Gorgeous property with sensational views. We enjoyed watching the many deer who roam the property.Renter BEWARE: We found two mice inside the home, numerous outside, and could hear others through the walls. I notified the owner, who quickly responded and called an exterminator. I would imagine this will be an ongoing issue and I would never rent this house again because of it.Other negatives with...

"The room was very clean. The bathroom is teeny, but was also clean. We spent an hour trying to figure out how to get the TV to work, only to find out that the cable box needed to be rebooted. Also, we contacted the host directly - once via text and once via phone and he didn't get back to us either time. Lastly, when we booked this room we had no idea it was actually a motel room. We were in a building with multiple single rooms and it was very loud during the night with people coming in...

"The fact that 1 dog was welcome is the primary reason I chose this location. Another reason was the proximity to an event I was attending. The location is in a very undeveloped area, but the camp is fairly close to a road as the bird flies, high above and visually removed from it. Noise from the road was not any problem, and good roads nearby was a plus. The owner has a house on the road into the camp, well separated from camp. I liked this, they didn't bother me, and nice to have help nearby.The...

Crown Point

"The property was nicely decorated and very clean. Also nicely located on the water. The owners communicated well and seemed friendly in their messages. Two things would make the property better - bug screens on more windows so they can be left open and light blocking blinds in one of the bedrooms. Main issue is the unfortunate fact the train track is close and I woke up twice from trains passing in the middle of the night."
