"We had an absolutely lovely long weekend at the Goldmoor. The Arthur suite was spacious, and the whirlpool was a wonderful way to relax after taking in the local scenery. We had dinner at The Edge at Goldmoor--absolutely delicious! The breakfasts each morning to the room were much better than any traditional bed and breakfast I've visited. I highly recommend!"

"I would definitely recommend this place. The staff was friendly and the the room was clean. The pool was open into the evening. Pool floats were also available to use. I will definitely stay again when traveling to Galena."

As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily.
