"I had a great stay at this hotel in Elgin, Illinois. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Everything was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The location was convenient and made it easy to get around. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"The walk in shower was for people 4.5 feet tall and the hose was spitting water everywhere at where it joined the supply. Some of the other guests thought it was a good idea to slam doors all night, no one stopped them even though the front desk was near by. The breakfast had a wonderful selection, but I'm pretty sure the powdered eggs, biscuits and sausage patties were Korean War surplus. Other than that, large room, very comfortable bed, plenty of pillows, very clean."

"Shabby hotel with little or no recent maintenance. Toilet paper dispenser was coming out of the wall. Dark spots on sheets. Peeling wallpaper throughout the facility. Dust under the bed was so thick I could draw my name in it! Staff was mildly attenuative, when they could raise their eyes from their cell phones. Breakfast was poor quality, no proteins of any sort and very little variety. No eggs, No meat of any sort. Stale bread and only bananas for fruit. For the price of this hotel, we...

"Hotel was ok, but I had room 219 next to the elevator on second floor where I experinced a lot of "on and off" noise coming from an electrical motor/compressor or the like from a kind of service room next door. That room should not be rented. "
