"The “Cozy one bedroom townhome” at Fond du Lac was not as it appeared on the listing. It was tiny. The bathroom was dirty, with a variety of black hair on the floor, indicating it had not been cleaned. It was disgusting. The bed was placed so that the air conditioner had to blast all night on one person’s head. We had to strip our own bed and there were stains on the mattress pad, further contributing to the impression of uncleanliness. When I complained to the owner, he did not even...

"The pictures are extremely misleading. The place is very dingy. There’s a bedroom downstairs that’s mostly fine, but the sleeping arrangements for the other eight upstairs are a very tight attic without separate rooms. There’s one bathroom and the water pressure is subpar. The outside of the building is pretty rundown. Everything worked. And communication was good. Great parking behind the unit. The AC worked fine."

"Property was great! Perfect for a fishing trip or maybe just boating. The host was very responsive and helpful the whole way. Plenty of room for a boat to back in and boat launch about a mile away. We were able to park boat in water behind house while we were there, which was very helpful. The backyard was cozy and peaceful with gas grill and a nice fire pit with plenty of seating. The property had kayaks,life vest, and even some poles and tackle for us to use. Couldn't have asked for more....

"Nothing fancy older home so some areas smaller but very adequate, clean and well supplied. Could use hand rails on lower stair case and entrance staircase as steps a little steep. Loved the fact we could get in early and didn’t feel rushed to leave with the 4pm check out. Bedrooms very adequate and nice bath. It definitely fit our needs for a homey evening stay."
