Barceló Tenerife

"We stayed at Barceló for 14 days because we wanted to be able to completely relax and not have to worry about anything during our entire holiday. We were two adults and our 5 year old son. It was our wedding anniversary when we arrived, and the staff had decorated our room beautifully. It was a fantastic way to be welcomed, and we really appreciated the thoughtful gesture. During the entire 14 days, there was only one day we didn’t find the food particularly exciting. Otherwise, there was always something we enjoyed, and there were always good options for our son as well. Unfortunately, a couple of times we found that there was no coffee left in the room after housekeeping, or that our used glasses had not been cleaned properly. However, these are very minor things and certainly not something we would hold against the hotel. The person I would like to give the biggest praise to is Alicia from the kids’ club. I apologize if I have spelled her name incorrectly, but I’m sure you know who I mean. My son absolutely adored her, and so did we. She was incredibly good at creating joy and making the children feel comfortable, even though our son can neither speak nor understand English. He felt 100% safe and comfortable around her, and his face would light up every time he saw her. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much! The fitness facilities could perhaps be improved a little, and a bit sad that the crossfit area was closed."
