"We had a hard time finding the hotel using GPS directions. Had to ask police officer. When you get off the bridge go left and first tight into very narrow street and right again and you will see hotel straight ahead with blue columns. If you see parking on the street park. Hotel does not hVe parking. It is street parking.

"The hotel is truly beautiful! The rooms are great and the service is wonderful. My only complaint is that you are limited to the food options from the hotel, which could be better. "
"This place is really close to Tikal National Park which was great for us. We were on a sunrise tour in the park, vent back to the Hostal for lunch, and then walked back to the park again. It was pretty easy do to the location of the Hostal.
The restaurant has good options for food.
Be aware of, if you do not rent a bungalow, then all the electricity is closed down 11pm until 6pm. This included the fan in the room. "
"This property is in the park and so you can get to the entrance by 6am when they open. The grounds are lovely as you are in the tropical forest. The first night we were there we heard howler monkeys close by and saw a Toucan (wild) and many birds. The hotel is supposedly run entirely on solar power, although that’s not something I could verify. But kudos to them. The room was very spacious for my son and I and so was the bathroom. The second night a troop of spider monkeys went by. What more can...
"After the el mirador trek I stayed at hotel Santana and it was a very pleasant surprise. Excellent staff and the room was clean and beautiful with a great view. The restaurant below was very good also. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Very nice. "
