Cute and Cozy

The accommodations were perfect for us. We were visiting family. The location was convenient to stores, entertainment, and family.

Overall, this was a great place to stay! It’s conveniently located near grocery stores and has all the essentials you need for basic cooking. We felt very comfortable and truly at home during our stay. The location is about 20 minutes from the beach without traffic, and around 45 minutes with traffic. That said, the drive didn’t feel bad at all, the views on the way “home” were really pretty and made it enjoyable. A couple of things to note (not dealbreakers at all, just helpful to know ahead of time): the unit has an induction stovetop. It works well, but it only has two burners with limited heat settings, and the size makes it best suited for one small pan and one larger pan at the same time. Also, there’s no central AC. My partner and I prefer having AC directly in the room while sleeping, so this wasn’t ideal for us. However, there is a portable fan that helped circulate cool air, and overall it was still comfortable. If you tend to sleep hot, this might be something to keep in mind, especially on warmer days. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, would come back and would definitely recommend it.

The floors were dirty when we arrived. The management company has cleaners, but they were not thorough with the cleaning. We found dust in the main bedroom and the living room and bathroom floors had dirt and shoe prints. The WiFi went out multiple times and the management company had us switch to multiple different networks but none were reliable. They ended up contacting their service provider after the 3rd time we complained about the WiFi issue. The pillows and mattress were not very comfy, very soft/mushy with zero support. The pros are the AC unit works really well especially during the recent SD heatwave & there’s a dedicated parking spot. Very middle of the road rental, not terrible but not great.
