"Plenty of room for 4 adults & an excited Springer spaniel. Great to have a dog friendly garden - not always the case when advertised as such! Lots of walks from the doorstep. Local shop sells delicious cakes to take on walks!"

"Great accommodation in a lovely little village with fantastic views. Everything you could need to make this a home from home and only a 20 minute walk into Keswick."

"We have stayed at Millside Cottage many times before and it's a favourite of ours. Cottage is very homely and well equipped. It was great to see that the shower has been upgraded. One suggestion is that the new Wood burner is not that practical to use as there is no companion set, or at the very minimum an available poker. Having a fire at home, we know that sometimes you really need a poker to "re-adjust" locations of logs within the fire to ensure that they are sat correctly."

"The house really makes the most out of its space. Really comfortable and modern yet still cosy. Everything is new, clean and well thought out. Having the downstairs toilet outside is a bonus and also the outhouse with washing machine, drier and freezer - it just frees up so much space. The house instantly feels spacious even though it is quite a small footprint and the garden is beautiful and secure. My parents live in Braithwaite so I know it well and it really does have everything, including...

"Great location just outside Cleator Moor. Plenty of parking"

"This property is great value for money. Could do with a little bit of deor makeover in living room , a bit dated (sorry).but this may put people off which is otherwise a great rental. Very comfortable beds, bedrooms were lovely and spacious and very clean. One bedroom at the top of the property has a great view of Latrigg and Skiddaw on your own private balcony with chairs and a table. Great for a coffee on a morning . Massive added bonus is your own parking space at the rear of the property....

"We had a wonderful stay at Lords Seat. The surrounding area was beautiful and it wasn't too far from places to visit. The only problem was not being able to watch TV in the evening. Someone did come out but was unable to fix it. Also the jam we ordered was mouldy when we opened it. Will definitely go back again."

"Excellent company to book with , all arrangements were very straight forward . A nice touch is supporting the local food bank with excess food t the end of your stay. Property was as described , well equipped and in a fab location ."

"We ended up here very last minute and we loved every minute of the nine nights we stayed here it. It's a great place to stay if you want to be near to Keswick but not necessarly in Keswick. If you've got a big SUV parking can be tricky but our Renault Captur fitted in there fine. It's highly recommended."

"Great cottage in a very good area outside Keswick. Comfortable, good for walks , car trips to other places . Would recommend."

"The cottage had everything to ensure a fantastic and comfortable stay, it is set in a great location, in the village of Braithwaite with walks from the door or within driving or bus travel to all the major villages and towns. Our break happened during two weeks of very hot weather, the cottage was lovely and cool to return to after the days in the sun."

"Our second visit to Deer Close Cottage. Very comfortable and great location. Only 1.5 mile walk into Keswick. Peaceful and lovely birds that visit the garden. Look forward to booking again with Keswick Cottages, great people who treat you like a human not just a booking number. Thanks for the wine and biscuits."
