Heaven on Harrelson is waiting to provide a wonderful space to create new memories and continue vacation traditions. This 1,080-square-foot home plus a screened porch features a custom-built living room table and a table, chairs, and benches from reclaimed wood in the dining room. Enjoy easy beach access and gorgeous views overlooking a tranquil lagoon from the spacious rear deck with a picnic bench overlooking the water. A fishing pier is also present for those who want to spend mellow days casting a line. Whether you enjoy birdwatching, crabbing, fishing, kayaking, or just a spectacular view of Edisto's beauty, the vantage points from this home are sure to wow guests of all ages.

A bright interior will remind you that you are at the beach and to savor the peace of your vacation. The well-equipped kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a Bosch dishwasher, and a layout that opens to the dining/living area, allowing you to laugh and share stories about your day at the beach while the chef in your group prepares a Lowcountry feast. Internet access and a TV will keep you entertained if a brief afternoon shower interrupts your sunny day on the beach. Spend your evenings on the spacious, screened porch equipped with rocking chairs and a porch swing that will have you relaxing in true Southern style. The surrounding palm trees ensure you and your guests have the privacy they desire.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Property was as described. House was clean and fit our needs perfect. We had to call twice and items were handled immediatly. Only issue was trash can was over flowing and the people before us had ledt diapers everywhere in tje yqrd.

Heaven on Harrelson

Heaven on Harrelson is in a great location. We loved sitting on the back porch in the mornings and later evenings looking over the tidal creek. We managed to catch several fish. The house had everything we needed and was a short walk to the beach, which we loved. We weren’t supposed to lower the air conditioner temp. This was frustrating as the seal around the door was nonexistent and you could see light around the whole door (even through the deadlock hole). The shower drains did not drain well either. Overall we had a great time. Thank you

Great location.

We've been going to Edisto for many years and this year's visit was great as usual. This house is one of my favorite homes on the island. The location was close to the beach and secluded at the same time. It had a great screened in porch with a swing and plenty of rocking chairs. The kids loved the fishing/crabbing dock in the backyard. And this house had the best grass in the backyard -it was lush and had zero sand spurs. Loved having the towels, toiletries, and linens provided. Will definitely stay here again!

Nice house for a small family gathering or group of friends. Bathrooms are small, but adequate. Yard was great for dogs. House is perfect for folks that fish, dock right there plus ocean a short walk away. Would come back again. Cleaning people could do a better job.

Nice little beach retreat

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was nicely decorated and the yard was great for our dog. We liked having the two king beds for the parents, the living room was spacious enough, and the kitchen table had plenty of room for 6 plus people. There was a lot parking available since the house was at the end of road. The property is less than a minute away from a beach access by golf cart, and only a few minutes if walking. I would definitely stay here again!

Great house, great location, great value! Super nice and large lot for kids to play! Beautiful view of pond and short walk to beach. The only suggestion I would make is to stock the kitchen with a few more pots and pans. Everything else was fantastic!

Amazing Long Weekend Stay

What a wonderful house! We try to stay at a beach house every summer and everyone agreed this is one was our favorite so far. You get a nice break from the beach with the wonderful back yard and garage set up. The creek and dock had the kids entertained looking for crabs for hours. We thought the beds were perfectly comfortable for a rental house. It had plenty of amenities but could use a few more kitchen items. We had a great time enjoying the thunderstorms on the beautiful screened in porch. Can't wait to stay here again soon!

Loved the location and floor plan. The yard was terrific, the kids enjoyed looking for crabs by the water. One of the adults felt the bed needed improvement as she woke up with back pain, said it felt like sleeping on top of box springs. I had read a previous post that said the kitchen lacked pot holders and some basics, like salt and pepper. We left our salt and pepper and had to use a towel as a potholder. So next renters need to bring these! The front porch is fabulous and the house is at the end of the street, which was great.

Family Beach Trip

This property is on a quiet street that is a dead end. Perfect for families with kids. Keurig worked great. There are plenty of dishes, cookware, flatware and cooking utensils. The cookware and knives need updating, it's all been well used. There were not any hotpads, so baking and removing items from the oven was very difficult. We used a towel to make it work.... One pot we tried to use for cooking shrimp ended up having a leak in it and caused a huge mess on the stove. There were zero spices, no olive oil, no salt and pepper. All had been removed. We left some behind, but I would expect you need to bring with you or buy everything. There were trash bags, and toilet paper. But would plan to bring some in case they are not provided. There is an iron, however there is not a hairdryer - you will need to bring that. The beds are very stiff and bouncy, lots of spring. If you prefer a stiff bed you will love it. I did not like it and did not sleep well, my mother and father however were not bothered by the bed. Sheets and bed covers were provided, nice quality. The house was tough to keep cool - the air conditioner was struggling, directions state to not lower the temp below 72 degrees. If you prefer a very cool house, you may be warm during the summer. I would recommend to the owners to upgrade the AC unit. Internet works great. Lovely screened in porch that we spent a lot of time on reading and relaxing. Lots of beach toys for the kids and chairs all stored in the laundry room storage for use on the beach. The boogie boards were all broken, would recommend renting or bringing your own. The entire house seems to have been updated recently, it was clean, paint is very nice. Just a few updates that could be addressed and would make this an even nicer rental.

Great short girls weekend

Very clean and comfortable home for everyone. We had a girls weekend for family before new baby arrives. Found home to be just like the pictures. Location very close to beach and at end of road so very private. Loved the front porch complete with chairs and swing. Wish we had had more time to stay! Beds and baths comfortable and sanitized. Would certainly rent again for longer stay.

We had a great week. House was a great location-close to beach, stores and restaurants. Beds and furnishings were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. We loved the screened-in porch but really wish we could have seen the ocean. The house was not very clean when we arrived and I notified the realty company about specifics.

The layout for this property was perfect for the family. The location was an easy walk to the beach and being at the lagoon made my “fisherman” son extremely happy. He was out there all day! The property felt very private, which was nice. A few things that could improve...there was no pantry so it was difficult to find places to put All of the food for the week. It made the pretty kitchen feel more cramped. Also, the bunk bed mattresses were not comfortable. My son and his friend had back pain after the first night that continues throughout the week. Other than that, it was a nice stay!

Edisto Beach is Beautiful!

This was our first time visiting Edisto Beach. We loved our trip and hope to be back. Heaven on Harrelson accomodated our party of 7 but it was cozy if we were all inside. The good news is there is plenty of space on this property to spread out from the screened in porch, to the back deck and underneath space. We utilized all spaces. During our stay the washer and dryer were replaced with new equiptment and that was a great upgrade. The kitchen is semi-well equipped and could really use some of the basics like cookie sheets for heating up items and mixing bowls - these things may have gone missing over time. The property is located close to the beach - the walk is short. We brought a beach wagon which helped to haul our chairs, floats and umbrella. The beach has plenty of space to spread out after high tide so that you are able to social distance and have your own space. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Heaven on Harrelson,

Heaven on Harrelson

Our stay was wonderful. Weather was perfect. Heaven on the Harrelson is wonderfully decorated with everything you will need for your vacation. We were a party of 9 even though the home is a little bit small we managed just fine. The screened in porch is wonderful to sit and enjoy the ocean breeze, one row back from the ocean.
