"We had a good overall experience at this cabin/cottage. The place was clean, comfortable, and matched my expectations for the price. Check-in and communication with the host were smooth and hassle-free. The location was cool, kind of on a peninsula, and had everything we needed for our stay. Bathroom was tight but functional. It was close enough to what we wanted to do. We did not utilize the water at all but it was nice viewing the lake in our downtime. I would stay here again. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The kitchen is well-equipped, and we cooked almost every night without any issues. We also really appreciated being able to bring our small dog, who loved the new smells in the backyard. With the exception of the occasional car passing by on the nearby road, there's hardly any noise. That, the sauna, and the lake make it easy to relax.Depending on when you come, make sure to bring bug spray."

"The property was clean, quiet, and bug free on the inside. It was definitely Michigan weather. Air conditioning in the morning and heat at night. Lol. The lake was pretty and the loons were singing at night and in the morning. At night you havr a great view of the northern sky. No dark sky park needed. Firewood and charcoal seemed to be provided, which was a really nice amenity. It was a short trip so sadly we didn't use any of it. Next time we'll come for a week. Rent cabin 7 if you want a dock...

"We enjoyed the bunkhouse and it's quiet and peaceful rustic setting both inside and out. It was the perfect location for what we wanted to do (hike bike and relax). The sandy roads were not ideal for our biking but we managed to find some semi paved rds, the places we hiked were perfect as was the bonus trip to the Shipwreck museum and miles of walking along the shore of Lake Superior. Our biggest complaint was the mosquitos! We could not seem to get away from them!! Next time we would consider...
