"We had a beautiful week in Lubec. House had everything we needed, and more. Spent our first few days relaxing and listening to music, great CD collection. Bed was comfortable and it was great to wake up and have coffee and look out over the water."

"Can’t say enough good things about this house. It was perfect. Every detail was thought through from the abundance of cozy blankets to the cute fireplace heaters in every room. The house was super clean and just perfect. We only had two adults staying a few nights for work travel (pretending it was a girls week lol) but I could see it comfortably fitting lots of people as there was so much space! I wish it was warmer out so I could have taken advantage of the outside spaces. Hope I get to come...

"I want to live here. I love the location, walking out to the fire pit seating area, the house decor, deck, and comfy beds. Proximity to town as well as Quoddy Head hiking trails. Good distance for day trips to Acadia and other lovely Maine spots. Catherine responded quickly to every message I sent. Smooth check in process too. I hope to stay here again and again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely house. There was plenty of room to relax. The heated in ground salt water pool was a great spot to unwind at the end of the day. We enjoyed walking to the Lubec Brewing Company and local shops. I would recommend that visitors bring their passports as the bridge to Campobello Island is so close! We hope to rent again next year!"

"PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. Excellent lakefront property. Hoise is well loved and cared for. Very clean. Plenty of outdoor area to run around. The penisula is a great spot for morning sunrises and catching some photos of loons. Many kayaks to enjoy time on the lake, laumch right fromt the beach. Plenty of indoor activities as well. The owners thought of everything when preparing the home for vacationers. There was not one time cooking that we didnt have what we needed. Kitchen is well stocked...

"A lovely property with a homey feel and an amazing view. It was well stocked with everything we needed to cook family meals even a large pot for lobster boils. We appreciated it was only 3 steps to get in the house with bathroom grab bars for toilets and showers. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs but for family members with limited mobility, all the common areas are on the ground floor with just one small step down to get on the deck. We will definitely stay there again."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house at the end of Water Street. It is ideally suited for viewing of the Old Sow turbulence. I don't think there could be a better viewpoint from the American side. There are at least three lighthouses which can be seen from the house, and both the rising and setting of the sun. And then there's the Bald Eagle which likes to sit on Dog Island and think about life for hours every day."

"This home was outstanding in ALL aspects. First of all, communication with the host both before we arrived and during our stay was so friendly and heartfelt. "Our stay was 5 star all the way. The cabin was located with a beautiful, extended view up the cove so we could watch the tides and weather from the comfort of the cabin. The isolated property was perfect for letting our dogs run free. We were the first guests of the year and woke up the first morning to 4" of snow over everything.
