This secluded gem of a place is situated right below Hwy 28, on the NV side of Lake Tahoe and had clear waters so inviting that I jumped in without thinking.. and got myself wet in the process. Lucky for me we had time for me to dry myself in the sun before heading to Reno =P This picture really didn't do the place much justice due to the overcast skies.. bet it would be lovely on a bright, sunny day! [August '14]
A beautiful spot to park and take in the scenery. There are restrooms available and a paved parking lot.
This beach was almost impossible to get to until they recently built and opened a pedestrian walking trail/bike path this summer. The trail now connects guests from Incline Village to all the most beautiful East Shore beaches like this one.
