"The property is well laid out, clean, quiet, and safe, away from the bustle and noise of Kahului. Why not 5 stars? We arrived late at night after a long flight from the mainland. Our assigned room had been programmed with the correct door code, but it was not ready for occupancy; it had not been cleaned or “turned over” from the previous renter. "The room is very clean and it's so easy to get in touch with the owners. Tyler and Penny are very welcoming."

"First of all. The host gave me not one. But two! Wrong pick up addresses. Causing me to waste 3 Ubers. And then they have the audacity to charge me for the picking me up at the wrong location. And the end of 5 days of rental I noticed bed bug bites on myself. It could be from the tent or even the vehicle seats. Made a complaint and the host/ Expedia refuse to take accountability. Don’t recommend. You’re better off renting a suv and buying a cheap tent. Not impressed. "

"We stayed while the storm was passing through, I believe this was the only place on the road to Hana which had power and water as they are self suffiecient. The gardens were gorgeous and Michael and Terry were very good hosts. The location was exactly as described in the listing."
