"Great location in Hana easy to get to Black sand beach! Good size, clean room with very comfortable bed. Nice, newwr clean shower with soap, shampoo/conditioner; sunscreen and aloe was also available. Coffee, tea, water and granola bars/biscuit bars. Easy clear check in/check out. I would highly recommend staying. "

"Property was clean, nicely set up, beautiful setting and views. Our room,1, was spacious with comfortable bed, loveseat and bistro table. The common space, kitchen, living, dining was large and and comfortable. Light breakfast items were good-yogurt, bagels, waffles, eggs, tea, coffee and fruit. It was in an excellent location to get an early start in the Road to Hana, without having to get up too early. I would highly recommend staying here! tea"

"We wanted a quiet and small property and this was it! Beautifully appointed apartment, easy walk to the beach. Truly was a wonderful stay! Loved the convenience store a block away, had wonderful deli with all the essentials. "

"From the moment we arrived we knew this would be special. The hosts are such great people, and they have amazing animals. We arrived at night after a long day to Hana, we got to pet horses in the middle of the night under the stars, couldn’t ask for anything else. Its prime location allowed us to hit Black Rock, Red sand Beach, Venus Pools, and 7 Sacred Pools… and the hidden gem at.mile 21.5, trust me stop on your way home, we had a privater waterfall to ourselves."

"Our second stay in this house (top floor only).Easy booking, clear instructions, has as described. Great location for our stay in Hana. Helpful host!We were familiar with the house and it is as advertised. The only issue was two of the fans don't work as they should (one moves little to no air now as compared to our last stay) and the other started making very loud noises during the night and woke 2 of us up. When they are fixed all will be great! "

"Our 2nd visit to this beautiful location. We love being in the rainforest...great way to enjoy the solitude after a busy week in Lahaina. "We enjoyed our 3 days here. The location is great! Rooms are larger than they look from the photos. Great communication with the owner/manager. The kitchen is well equipped. Private yard and hot-tub… amazing! There is nothing to dislike. Maybe the folks staying in the unit above us could have been less noisy - the sound of their stomping around woke us up early each morning. But that is not really the fault of the owner and it didn’t bother us too much.Would definitely stay here again! Will...

"My wife and I stayed in the Gingerbread House for a week in June. Eve welcomed us and helped us get oriented with the area, even suggesting places to visit and restaurants to check out. She was very quick to respond to questions. The location of the Gingerbread House itself is generally located in the middle of Maui away from the resorts, where we were able to enjoy a more authentic Hawaiian experience.
