"Overall, our group had a pleasant time but there were a few things that effected our stay: We were given two different unit numbers for check-in, which caused some minor confusion. The apartment was not as clean as we would have liked; the toilet bowls were pink, the washer clearly has mold growing inside it, and most of the floors could have done with a good vacuum mopping. "We enjoyed our stay at the Country Inn and Suites in Ashland VA. This hotel is our go to hotel when visiting our college student at RMC. Thank you for keeping this hotel in such great condition as the suites are very comfortable which is the reason this our preferred stay. "

"The current average rating is way too high. This place is unremarkable, pictures on the site are unrepresentative and service is horrible. 1) service: This hotel is in the gold hotel.com rewards program. As gold members we should therefore be offered both a free drink and a complimentary upgrade if available. On this particular day the hotel was mostly empty. Upon check-in the person at the front desk entirely refused to provide either rewards although acknowledging that it was clearly stated...

"The stay at Drury Plaza was ok. The rooms were clean and spacious. No complaints there. But the breakfast buffet was very bad and uninspiring. There were, apart from apples and bananas, no fresh vegetables nor fruit. The bomuld eggs were clearly not freshly cooked at the hotel, but from a bucket/jar. I would suggest going for a bit more ingredients - and just fresh food. Not all that processed food. We did not try the evening buffet for this reason."
