"Would’ve rated 5 stars were it not for rude receptionist at the front desk at around 12noon. The breakfast/kitchen staff were outstanding and made made up for the shortcomings of the receptionist."

"If you need a microwave and/or refrigerator, you have to request them the morning of your check-in, as not all rooms have them. Breakfast is continental so was just bagels, muffins, coffee and juice and some corn flakes with milk. They were out of Raisin Bran. The breakfast was as advertised: Continental !"

"Our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Baltimore Hunt Valley was extremely disappointing. The first room we were assigned had a strong musty, dirty smell. We were moved to a second room, which was better, but the AC compressor was unbelievably loud — it sounded like an airplane taking off. On top of that, every night the parking lot was crowded with pickup trucks, and there were groups of people drinking and partying late into the evening. "Everything was great.. staff, parking and room. Only issue was no breakfast even though their website identified a breakfast."

"This is an old hotel in a lower/mid neighborhood. They don't allow bag checking or early check in. The rooms were old but clean and functional. Price is readonable. You check in through a well worn hole in the glass and must make a cash deposit of $50. Some will be put off by this but it met my needs for the price."
