"Enjoyed my stay here. The cottage is newly renovated and was spotless. Very nicely decorated with kitchen that was fully stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal or bake a cake. Situated right on the water with a dock to sit on and enjoy the peace and quiet. Will definitely stay here again. "

"Great cottage to relax with friends. The Cottage was in great shape and clean, but could use a good deep cleaning in certain areas. The dock and waterfront areas are amazing. The Sauna heats up quickly, but only fits 2-3 adults comfortably. Overall a great cottage and will definitely be looking to book again in the future!"

"This was a great little cottage. My family and I were at a family wedding near by. Cottage had all amenities, except a BBQ(although it was not one offered). The place was clean and the owner responded to any questions very timely. We did have issues closing the bathroom door and the shower heads spray was affected due to the hard water. "Overall the property was as advertised. Close to Smith Falls and Merrickville, it is situated on a small waterway that is peaceful and has seating on the dock. Price was fair for the accommodations. The icons on VRBO indicate that there are two showers but there is only one. The upstairs bathroom is a tub only. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything that we needed. We had a lovely stay."

The cottage is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, the location is stunning, and the screened in porch was an absolute added bonus. "There are a few awkward places to step, like by the bbq corner of deck, not a lot of room for error, very easy to misstep and fall off the deck and land on the stairs. And getting from the land onto the dock, had be careful not to slip with the gap. But other than those minor things to be aware of, the cottage was wonderful. "If you’re looking to spend some personal time or time with family or close friends relaxing, this is a great property. Our stay was from Wed - Sunday and the weekdays were brilliantly quiet. The river running just behind the property, it’s a great backdrop to lounging and relaxing. It was a pleasure to sit with a cup of coffee and hear the birds and the sound of the rapids just down river.
