"We just needed a place to sleep before a long leg of driving the next day, and this perfectly suited us. The location is really close to a major road, but the house is soundproofed enough that the provided white noise machine and a fan were all that we needed to fall straight asleep. They provided snacks, drinks and wifi, in a bright and shining house I wouldn't mind moving into."

"My husband and I spend a lot of time traveling by motorcycle and have stayed in 50 vacation rentals. This is exactly the kind of place we look for when booking our trips; quiet, clean and comfortable. The house is nicely decorated with everything that we needed to relax at the end of the day. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch listening to the birds and watching the fireflies. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Mars Hill."

"This was such a beautiful place to stay. Country setting but not far from town. Everything was wonderful. My granddaughter loved the horses there. They have everything you could need at their place. They were very friendly and excellent of returning messages. I would definitely stay here again "

"The property was amazing. Very easy to check in and have access. It was beautifully maintained and it had easy instructions regarding TV /WiFi.The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary items to make my stay comfortable. The entire cottage was perfect and a comfortable stay. Conveniently located near restaurants and shops. Highly recommended. The host was very nice:)"

"This property had something for everyone in the family! The hot tub, patio swing, and pool in the rec room were a hit with our family of five. Nice, quiet neighborhood, too!"

"We enjoyed our visit at this quiet cottage! It’s quaint, comfortable and our host, Janet, was always quick to respond, friendlyand helpful. It’s very accessible to highways, the BlueRidge Parkway and sites around the Ashville area. Sitting out on the front porch was an added bonus. We saw huge turkeys and a mom a bear and her two cubs strolling across the yard! Loved being in nature here! "

"Janie was very accommodating with our late arrival and extended stay so we could fit in a few more activities on our trip. The cottage was very clean and cozy. It is located on their property so it is not secluded completely, but it still felt private. Location is great to reach different areas around Asheville and the city itself. We brought our dog Charlie with us and there were no issues. Overall it was very wonderful!"

"My husband is hard to please and he thought the place, the location and the lovely neighborhood was amazing. Our dog was content and got lots of walks without traffic! The host’s restaurant recommendations were great too! We highly recommend and plan to return as soon as we can! Will never stay in a hotel again! "
