Our family enjoyed being so close to Murray, yet removed from the town enough to enjoy the wooded and peaceful location. The patios are delightful to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening to watch the fireflies. Our 12 year old son loved the larger living room area to spread out for his space. "The view was amazing! Hot tub was super clean (needs a new lid) house was very clean! Owner was great to work with!The dock was further away than the pictures made it seem and it was not accessible to my husband who has a bad back bc it was very steep. But!! It had everything a family would I need to have lots of fun at the lake!"

"This was a trip for us to remember. There were 8 adults. PLENTY of space! Beds were good. Great air conditioning!! Such a plus for a 2 story home when it’s 98 degrees every day! The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. The men fished every day! There is a nice cleaning area also for the fish! Would maybe stay again!"

"Awesome place. Stocked with many and all items needed for a relaxing secluded time on the water. Lots of things for our teens to do to keep them entertained. The stairs down to the water were a little challenging, but gave us a good cardio workout to burn some calories. highly recommend to those who want to get away and relax. Remember to bring what you need ,it a good 40 minutes to grab a gallon of milk or loaf of bread. That being said the Downs House was wonderful and you won't be...

"The location of the home was great. We enjoyed fishing, the beautiful lake and serenity. Wildlife especially the deer. The house was really nice and we really enjoyed sitting in the enclosed porch downstairs in the afternoon. We would highly recommend this place. "
