"We enjoyed our stay. The only thing which could be improved would be the adress. The street was easy to find however the house number was R. da Suavinha 216 and not 220 as in our confirmation."

"Licinia and her husband were wonderful hosts, easy to communicate with and resolving any issues promptly. The pool.ans outdoor area was great though the weather was bad during our stay so we didn't get to use it.. easy drive to Porto too! The only thing we found was the listing says spa pool and fitness centre which must be a mistake as there is not either of those available a this house."

"Two families spent a week in the house in July, had a fantastic time. The house, pool, garden and river with kayak and SUP equipment is just fabulous. We loved the slow days in the house, moving between pool, river and garden and just enjoying it. Being next to the river was mor rewarding than expected, the river seems very clean and we enjoyed swimming, kayaking and stand up paddling much more than expected. The house and garden are also great, we didn’t miss anything in or around the house....

"Fantastisk at kunne sidde foran er flere hundrede år gammelt hus og kikke ned på floden. Så højt oppe så man ser ned på rovfugle som jager på bjergsiden. Pluk en citron til drinken på den kæmpe store grund og nyd livet ved poolen. Her er masser af plads til 8 personer og Francisco er den perfekte vært."

"We were 4 couples enjoying 5 great days at this wonderful place. The view from the house, garden and pool is just stunning. We asked about the possibility for a chef to shows us how to prepare Portuguese dishes in the kitchen at the house. The host arranged that and a chef, her assistant and the host introduced us to 13 different Portuguese disses. It was an excellent experience and we enjoyed the good traditional Portuguese cuisine. We will give the team our very best recommendation."

"This property is a green oasis. The old stone buildings are beautifully decorated. Spacious rooms and bathrooms, with comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. The pool is great and the movable roof is absolutely brilliant. The town does not have much to offer, but supermarkets are within walking distance, and the property is located perfectly for airport, train and drives in the area. "Victor went above and beyond as our host. Before even checking into the house, he helped set up transportation, rental cars, and a restaurant reservation recommended by him. His house was absolutely beautiful, and he greeted us upon our arrival to show us around the property. Thanks to him, we also had a unique lunch experience at this tavern on our first full day in town. Would reccomend to anyone!"

"We stayed for five days in October; the apartment had lots of space for the five of us. It is located close to the water and restaurants. The unit and the neighbourhood were both quiet. It’s easy to get downtown by bus,tram or Uber. The owner and management company were quick to respond to any questions that we had. "Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward."

"Vi var to familer med mange børn(7 børn i alle aldre) som havde en fantastisk efterårsferie i huset. Miguel arrangerede sågar en kok der kom og lavede hjemmelavet portugisisk mad, en stor oplevelse. Varm anbefaling herfra. Huset ligger tæt på infrastruktur så det er nemt at komme rundt i landet samt ind til Porto."

"The house was great in a lovely location. Views were amazing. Good area for peace and quiet but easy 50 minute drive into Porto. Slightly lacking in glasses and crockery, we had to put the dishwasher on regularly. There was a problem with the pool while we were there, and we were unable to use it, which was a great shame as the weather was so good. But owner has been kind enough to compensate us for this. Would recommend the house."

"This is a beautiful property. Two couples stayed in the villa. Unfortunately the rain was incessant so we were not able to use the outdoor patio and pool. But it was an ideal base to explore Porto, the staff was superb, and the breakfast set us up for the day."
