"Cabin was great! Beautiful view of the mountains off of the deck. Wildlife every morning and evening. Cabin was clean and well stocked with supplies and accessories. Dean was an amazing host, he was in constant communication with us, before, during and after our stay. Highly recommend this relaxing getaway. We will definitely come back and visit."

"We absolutely loved this place - we wanted privacy on the mountain and that's what we got! We walked out the door and hiked up a mountain, we drove 5 minutes and checked out Pinkerton Hot Spring, we drove N. 25 minutes and hiked Cascades waterfall! The house has EVERYTHING we needed and was appointed with everything I forgot to bring, a true delight while on vacay with children! The only complaint about our stay - we didn't realize the highway would be so loud. At night there isn't much traffic...

"It was perfect for me. I love the mountain and being able to get up to the Transfer area so easily. This cabin was a dream come true. Everything I needed was there and it was all done very well, i.e. kitchen, bedroom, bath. I loved the southern view from the porch to the mountain east of Mesa Verde, as well as the field with the rise and pinyon/junipers to the west. Sunsets with silhouetted trees. Beautiful. Tyler and Mackenzie were wonderful. I hope to be able to go back again. "

"The site was perfect located, close enough to town but far enough to enjoy the quietness of the mountains and all the beautiful scenery. Once we parked, we never got in our vehicles again until we left. There is plenty of room for vehicles. We brought one bumper pull trailer that parked at the beginning of the driveway. Our gooseneck got left at the bottom of the hill. None of that will detour us from coming back and staying again! Beautiful property and house! 100% worth it! "

"The property in Lake Purgatory drive was perfect for our vacation in July. There was a beautiful view of the mountains and hummingbirds that we enjoyed while relaxing on the back deck. Temperatures were perfect as it is about ten degrees cooler than the city of Durango. All of the accommodations were wonderful. The owners original artwork was a unique touch that we enjoyed. We highly recommend the property!"
