"I had an amazing stay! A quick little get away from all the Hussle and bustle of life, I stayed for 3 days. It was so quiet and peaceful, close to all the things I wanted to see. I went to go see Garden of the Gods. The property was clean and well kept, the trails on site were well kept and beautiful. "

"Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Simply appointed and has necessities. Quiet area directly on the Ohio River, not far from Garden of the Gods. About thirty minutes from Harrisburg. We drove in and ate at Morello's one day and The BBQ Barn on another day. Both good choices. "

"Enjoyed every minute. The river-facing windows and deck allowed us to experience the view all day and night. Don’t be fooled by the charming vintage exterior because the amenities are all in excellent condition. The mattresses are among the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The bathroom is luxurious with the jacuzzi being everything you could ask for. Close to spectacular hiking trails and scenery. Highly recommend!"

"The cabin met all of our expectations. "

"What a gem of a spot! Serene lake views with sunrise and sunset colors. Kayaking across a lake like glass. Watching turtles pop up and herons fly across. A cozy cabin with a little hot tub to sit in while you relax and look at the view. There are great hikes near by. We highly recommend the Garden of the Gods observation trial and Ferne Clyffe. "

"We had such a good stay for the 4th of July holiday. The house and property exceeded our expectations. Very clean and well taken care of. There was plenty of space for our family of five. Our teenagers really enjoyed the upstairs loft bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We utilized the nice dock for our boat and we caught so many fish off the shoreline. This place really has it all for your lake getaway. Beautiful location and home! Vickey was also very attentive to any...

"We had a great time and also managed to keep a teenager entertained! The bonus of the included wi-fi helped with that. Love all the wild life. The flock of geese likes this property and they will probably be in the yard each morning. Would suggest to any nature lovers. "

"We had a great time this weekend hiking around and coming back to the cabin and building a fire. The TV worked great for when we were going to bed at night. The kitchen had what we needed to cook a fine meal. I would definitely book again in the future."

"This house was amazing. Loved the outdoor living areas. Which is where we spent most of our time. Plenty of room inside and out for our entire family. 8 adults and 4 small children. Cooked on the flat stone for supper and breakfast. The dock was very nice with lots of amenities. But there wasn’t enough sitting area out of the sun. But it was very hot, near 100 degrees every day. "Beautiful property and super clean. The house is surrounded by trees, prairie grasses, and a farm field in the back so it’s really secluded and peaceful. Communication with the host was easy, friendly, and super clear. The hosts left a binder with a ton of helpful information in it.
