"It’s an older establishment with unique decor! Group of stone houses, nestled in a mountainous area, very relaxing and peaceful! Spacious room with necessary amenities. Balconies to sit and gaze the view. We only stayed one night. I would think it’s more of a winter accommodation but definitely provides coolness’s for the heat of the summer as well."

We’ve traveled the entire country and seen the most amazing places but the Ambelona Retreat is in its a class of its own. "The place is very nice and clean. The owner payed a lot of attention to details (like having toiletries, goodies and all necessary kitchen supplies). We even had a bottle of wine at the end of our stay. The decoration was very beautiful and there’s a supermarket right across the street, which is very convenient. Everyone was very friendly. The only room for improvement is with communication. I you don’t have a local number to call, there isn’t any way to contact the person in charge (no whatsapp...
