"We recently spent 17 days at Back of the Moon Cottage while I was recovering from major back surgery. We live over 3 hours from Marshall Hospital where my surgery was performed so I couldn't return home right away. The Cottage was the perfect place for us to stay. It was very clean and very quiet. Kim and Seth were amazing and always available for anything we needed. It was a wonderful experience staying there."

"I spent the weekend here solo and loved how big the space is a nicely decorated. The home is close to the supermarket and only an hour to Tahoe Peak. There are also many trails within 10-15mins. It was very quiet and I especially love it feels like a home. This place gives you enough firewood for your stay, has nice bathrooms and a hot tub. It also has a laundry which is nice so you get home with a clean bathroom. The host is very responsive as well. Will definitely come back!"

"We had a large 5 family group celebrating the end of our homeschool year learning about CA history. This was a perfect central location for that! We visited Sutter's Fort, Sutter's Mill, The Capital, RR Museum, Gold Bug Mine & downtown Placerville. The house was perfect for the families with kids that ranged from 1.5 to 16y. The property was amazing and the kids spent soooo much time just running around and being kids. We saw deer almost every day! Some of us walked to the lake and it's...
