"Newly tastfully decorated, staff friendly and attentive. Standard of food was on a par with pub grub, so not for foodies, also the dining room windows needed a wipe down due to dead insects. Wardrobe in room almost useless for hanging clothes full of other items . Better provision for hanging your cloths is needed, the wardrobe was small and was used to store a fridge, safe, hairdryer and ironing board. In short a potentially very nice hotel let down by attention to details."

"The house and its location are lovely; the staff welcoming and thoughtful. We could not have imagined a better place to celebrate our forty years together. "My best friend and I got to experience what relatively few Americans will ever experience - sleeping in a real castle! What an experience!
