"We had a very pleasant stay at Modern Carriage House Indianapolis. The property was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for our family. One of the best features was the attached garage downstairs, which made parking especially convenient and secure. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We also appreciated having filtered water and ice available directly from the refrigerator, and the mattress was excellent—very comfortable and great for a good night’s sleep. "When we arrived at the home at 9 pm the thermostat read 82 degrees and the upstairs window units had not been turned on so it was at least 10 degrees warmer in the bedrooms upstairs. We set the thermostat to 70 and it said 2 hours to cool. After 4 hours the thermostat read 77 degrees downstairs. In the meantime we went upstairs and sat on the queen size bed which immediately fell to the floor revealing that the bed frame had been taped together showing the host already knew the bed needed to be...

"We paid extra for early check-in, tried to communicate before arriving to no response ,but when we arrived the cleaning crew was still there and said they hadn’t been told about it. I also confirmed off-street parking in advance, but it turned out to be street parking only. The upstairs shower pressure was below acceptable, and the cleaning crew even asked us to finish the laundry they’d started. The walls are dirty and have spots everywhere a new paint job is long overdue. The caulk is coming...

"There were 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 wash cloths. It says its sleeps 3. We had 3 people. There was the queen bed and 3 pillows, no other linens were provided. We had brought 3 beach towels, that's what I had to use to sleep on (on the futon) and the other towel was my blanket. The house was humid, the stained microfiber love seat was damp feeling.
